This page provides links to online resources for practicing and consolidating second language skills, all created through support from the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center (PSLC). These and other resources form the initial core of materials being developed for a general system of language learning called "The Language Partner". The theory underlying the construction of The Language Partner is described in a recent paper on the Unified Competition Model MacWhinney (2011). Also, Competition Model theory has been partially integrated into material at the PSLC Theory Wiki page . That page presents both descriptions of concepts and terms, along with evidence from specific experiments.
